The hunting season in Azerbaijan will open on October 10 following a meeting of the Hunting Affairs Coordination Council.

Axar.az reports that Rashad Allahverdiyev, an official with the Biodiversity Conservation Service, announced the decision.

He said citizens wishing to hunt can find information on the permitted hunting periods and quotas for wild animals and birds on the official website of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, eco.gov.az, under the “Announcements” section.

“Hunting enthusiasts are urged to comply with the applicable hunting regulations and use only designated hunting grounds and areas authorized for hunting,” Allahverdiyev said.
