International travelers visit Gandzasar Monastery

An international group of travelers led by Charles Veley has visited Gandzasar Monastery in the village of Vangli, Aghdara district.

Axar.az reports that during the visit, the guests were given detailed information about the monastery’s history, architectural features and the region’s rich cultural heritage.

The international travelers were also informed about what was described as interventions by Armenians aimed at altering the monastery’s historical and cultural identity and distorting its origins.

It was emphasized that protecting historical monuments and preserving their original appearance and historical identity without falsification are essential to ensuring that they are passed on to future generations.
