Six years since deadly shelling of Tartar cemetery

Six years have passed since Armenian armed forces shelled civilians gathered for a funeral at the Tartar city cemetery during the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh War.

Axar.az reports that on October 15, 2020, Armenian armed forces once again violated international humanitarian law by deliberately subjecting the Tartar city cemetery to heavy artillery fire during a funeral.

As a result, four civilians attending the funeral of their deceased relatives were killed, while four others were seriously injured.

It should be noted that during the Second Karabakh War, various civilian settlements in Azerbaijan came under fire from Armenian forces, with long-range missiles also used in many cases.
