In January–September of this year, 249,002 people traveled from Azerbaijan to Georgia.

Axar.az reports, citing APА, that this was stated in a report by the Georgian National Tourism Administration.

Compared to the same period last year, the number of visitors increased by 28,834 people, or 13.1%.

In the first nine months, Azerbaijan ranked fifth in terms of the number of foreign citizens visiting Georgia. Along with Azerbaijan, the top five included Russia (1,306,623 people), Turkiye (923,476 people), Armenia (676,201 people), and Israel (292,420 people).

During the reporting period, Georgia received a total of 6,112,078 international visitors, which is 0.04% more than in the same period last year. The number of tourist visits increased by 2.3% year-on-year to 4,404,872.
