Farhad Guliyev, an Azerbaijani living in Ukraine, has been appointed Deputy Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

Axar.az reports that in a Facebook post, Guliyev said he was aware of the responsibility entrusted to him and the importance of effective work to ensure the security of the Ukrainian capital and the country.

He pledged to use all his efforts and experience to strengthen Ukraine’s security, protect its national interests and serve the Ukrainian people.

Guliyev also thanked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Presidential Office Head Kyrylo Budanov, Deputy Presidential Office Head Viktor Mykyta and Kyiv City Military Administration Head Andrii Tkachov for their trust.
