Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kemaleddin Heydarov on Friday met with a delegation headed by Commander of Iran's Border Police Brigadier-General Qasem Rezaei.

Kemaleddin Heydarov said the two neighborly and friendly countries are improving bilateral relations from year to year.

Giving detailed information about the efforts to prevent emergencies and eliminate their consequences, Minister Heydarov stressed the necessity for further development of cooperation between the ministry and Iran’s corresponding bodies.

Qasem Rezaei spoke about the importance of an upward trend in cooperation between the relevant bodies of the two countries.

The parties then exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest.
