Kazakh president planning to visit Azerbaijan

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said on Tuesday that he is planning to visit Azerbaijan, Kazinform reported.

Nursultan Nazarbayev made the remarks during the ceremony of presentation of credentials by ambassadors of several foreign states – Azerbaijan, Israel, Uzbekistan, Thailand, as well as the United Nations.

The president said Azerbaijan is a strategic partner of Kazakhstan in the Caucasus, noting that the two countries continue active cooperation in the fields of energy, logistics and agriculture.

“I received an official invitation from President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, which I accepted with great pleasure,” Nazarbayev added.
