Armenia violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan

Armenian armed units violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan 117 times on various parts of the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenia troops in one day, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on March 17.

Armenian armed units stationed on nameless uplands , in the villages Paravakar , Berkaber of Armenia’s Ijevan district, villages Mosesgegh, Chinari of Berd district fired on the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces on nameless uplands and in the village Gizilhajili of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district, Kohnagishlag of Agstafa district, Alibayli, Agdam, Kokhanabi villages of Tovuz district.

Moreover, Azerbaijani positions located on nameless uplands of Gadabay district came under fire from Armenian positions located on nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk district.

Another ceasefire violation came from the positions located in Gulustan village of Goranboy district, Chilaburt, Goyarkh , Yarimcha, Chayli villages of Terter district, Shikhlar, Bash Karvand, Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Shuraaabad, Yusifjanli, Namirli villages of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of Khojavend district, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashaghi Seyidahmadli of Fizulu district, Mehdili of Jabrayil district, as well as in nameless uplands on Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavend, Fizuli and Jabrayil districts.


In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 120 strikes on enemy positions.
