Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has commented on proposal of the Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative to the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, on strictly adhering to the ceasefire on the upcoming Nowruz Bayram and Easter holidays.

The ministry told that conducting peaceful policy, Azerbaijan always takes necessary steps to reduce tension on the frontline and support effective cooperation with any international organizations for settlement of the conflict.

“Our only expectation in the settlement of the conflict is a just approach to the issue and ensuring of restoration of our territorial integrity. We welcome Andrzej Kasprzyk’s proposal, take every measures in order not to violate ceasefire and expect the OSCE to require the opposite side to take adequate steps”.
