Earthquake in Shamakhi

Earthquake occurred in Shamakhi region.

The Republican Seismological Service Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) reports that, according to preliminary data, the tremors were recorded at 18:07 local time, on March 24, 35 km south of Gobustan, in the area of Shamakhi. The quake was not felt.

The magnitude of the earthquake, the epicenter of which was at a depth of 5 kilometers, was 3.1
