Armenia violates ceasefire with Azerbaijan

Armenian armed units violated ceasefire using 60 mm mortars, large-caliber machine guns with Azerbaijan 120 times on various parts of the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenia troops in a day, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on March 31.

Armenian armed units stationed in the village Dovekh of Armenia’s Noyemberyan district, in nameless uplands and the village Paravakar of Ijevan district, Mosesgekh, Chinari villages of Berd district fired on the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces in Kamarli village and nameless uplands of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district, Kohnagishlag of Aghstafa district, Agdam, Alibayli, Kokhanabi villages of Tovuz district.

Moreover, Azerbaijani positions located on nameless uplands of Gadabay district came under fire from Armenian positions located on nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk district.

Another ceasefire violation came from the positions located in Gulustan village of Goranboy district, Goyarkh, Chayli, Yarimcha, Chilaburt villages of Terter district, Shikhlar, Bash Karvand, Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Shuraabad, Yusifjanli, Namirli villages of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of Khojavend district, Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashaghi Seyidahmadli of Fizulu district, Mehdili of Jabrayil district, as well as in nameless uplands on Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavend, Fizuli and Jabrayil districts.

In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 121 strikes on enemy positions.
