Armenia continues to violate the ceasefire

Armenian armed units violated ceasefire using large-caliber machine guns and artillery with Azerbaijan 115 times on various parts of the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenia troops over the past 24 hours, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on April 6.

Armenian armed units stationed on nameless uplands, in villages Berkaber, Paravakar of Armenia’s Ijevan district, in Mosesgekh village of Berd district fired on the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces on nameless uplands, in Gizilhajili village of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district, Kohnagishlag of Agstafa district, Alibayli, Agdam villages of Tovuz district.

Moreover, Azerbaijani positions located on nameless uplands of Gadabay district came under fire from Armenian positions located on nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk district.

Another ceasefire violation came from the positions located in Gulustan village of Goranboy district, Goyarkh, Yarimcha, Chilaburt villages of Terter district, Shikhlar, Bash Karvand, Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Shuraabad, Marzili, Yusifjanli, Garagashli, Namirli villages of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of Khojavend district, Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashaghi Seyidahmadli of Fizulu district, Mehdili of Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless uplands in Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavend, Fizuli and Jabrayil districts.

In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 120 strikes on enemy positions.
