Lavrov visits Alley of Honors -

The delegation led by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Honors on November 20 and commemorated the memory of national leader and founder of modern independent state Heydar Aliyev and laid a wreath at his grave.

Axar.az reports that well-known ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also commemorated.

Later the guest visited the Ally of Martyrs honoured the memory of the heroes of the Motherland, who died in the struggle for freedom and sovereignty of our country and laid a wreath at the monument to "Eternal Torch".
