Employee of Azerbaijani embassy in Russia beaten

Emil Maharramov, head of the consular department of Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Russia, was severely beaten by a taxi driver in Moscow on the night of April 15-16, the embassy informed.

He was taken to a city hospital, where he received first medical aid, according to the information of embassy.

The reason of the incident is unknown. Head of the consular department has already appealed to law-enforcement agencies.
