Rogue bee interrupts Prince Harry’s tribute to Charles - Video

Prince Harry is used to being the centre of attention – he’s royalty after all. But he was left swotting away some unwanted attention from an unexpected guest while paying tribute to his father ahead of his birthday. During a speech celebrating his father Prince Charles’ many years of charitable work at Buckingham Palace, Harry was interrupted by a rogue bumblebee.

Axar.az informs citing metro.co.uk.
He told his father: ‘It is your selfless drive to effect change – whether that is to improve the lives of those who are on the wrong path, to save an important piece of our natural heritage, or to protect a particular species under threat – which William and I draw inspiration from every day.’

But he stumbled half way through as the insect got a bit too up close and personal, forcing him to joke: ‘I’m sorry, that bee really got me.’ His new bride, Meghan Markle, was seen giggling at his reaction.

After the brief break in his speech, Harry then continued: ‘So Pa, while I know that you’ve asked that today not be about you, you must forgive me if I don’t listen to you – much like when I was younger. ‘And instead, I ask everyone here to say a huge thank you to you for your incredible work over nearly 50 years.’

The garden party at Buckingham Palace is the first of many events to be held ahead of Prince Charles’ 70th birthday in November. More than 6000 people involved with charities supported by Charles were in attendance at the party. It was also the first formal engagement for Prince Harry and Meghan, who chose a pale pink dress by British label Goat for the occasion, since their wedding on Saturday.
