The national flag, which had once been hung in the Parliament of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, has been presented to Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov at the Cabinet of Ministers.

Addressing the ceremony, Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov described the delivery of the national flag from Turkey on the eve of the centennial of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic as a historic event.

Researcher, Doctor of Science in Sociology, doctoral student at Istanbul University Afgan Valiyev handed the national flag and archive material relating to the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic epoch – handwritten letters, documents, maps – to Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov.
