Azerbaijani districts with the thickest snow cover

A snow cover has formed in mountainous and foothill areas due to unstable and relatively cold weather on the night of December 29, the National Hydrometeorology Department at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told.

Axar.az reports that to the attention of snow panorama lovers: the snow depth reaches 9-14 cm in Dashkesan, Gadabay, Goygol regions, 2-10 cm in Shamakhi, Maraza, Altiagaj, 6-9 cm in Guba, Gusar, Khaltan, Griz, 12 cm in Shahdag and Khinalig, 28-30 cm in Shaki, Saribash.

The air in these districts is clean and frosty.
