Weather forecast for tomorrow announced

The weather forecast for tomorrow in Azerbaijan has been announced.

Axar.az reports citing the National Hydrometeorology Department at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources that the weather in Baku and Absheron peninsula on January 12 is expected to be changeable cloudy, occasionally gloomy and mainly rainless. Light fog will be observed in some places in the morning. Occasionally intensifying south-western wind will be replaced by north-western wind in the evening.

The temperature in the Absheron peninsula is expected to be +2- +5 C at night and +8- +11 C in the daytime, while in Baku the temperature will be +3- +5 C at night and +9- +11 C in the daytime.

The atmospheric pressure will drop from above the normal - 765 mm to 758 mm mercury column. The relative humidity will make 65-75% at night and 55-60% in the daytime.

The weather in the regions will be mainly rainless. Fog will be observed at night and in the morning in some places. The western wind will occasionally intensify in some places.

The air temperature will vary from -1 C to +4 C at night and +9-+14 C in the daytime, while mountainous areas will see the temperatures at -3- -8 C, -10-14 C in high mountainous areas at night and +2+7 C in the daytime.

MENR warns that the south-western wind will blow in Baku and Absheron peninsula from January 11 daytime to January 12 daytime. It is expected that the western wind will blow on January 11 in regions and will intensify in some places on January 12.
