Delegation of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (SCC) is on a visit to the United States from April 22.

Axar.az informs that, according to the committee's press and public relations department, the delegation is headed by Chief of the Customs Control Department of the State Customs Committee Shahin Alasgarov. The visit was organized to exchange experiences and practical exercises on the US Department of State's Export Control and Border Security Program.

Practical trainings for 12 members of the State Customs Committee are held at the John Kennedy International Airport in New York, USA.

The US Department of State's Export Control and Border Security Program has been implemented in Azerbaijan since 1999 and has established effective cooperation relations with the State Customs Committee under this project.

The US Department of State's Export Control and Border Security Program and exchange of practice will continue until April 26.

It should be noted that the SCC employees on Export Control and Border Security Program have already organized international and national trainings as well as seminars on various issues to study the best international practice in the field of customs
