The V World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue started in Baku on May 2 under the slogan "Let's build dialogue for the sake of cooperation against discrimination, nonviolence and violence".

Axar.az informs that, president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony of the forum.

The Forum is organized by the Government of Azerbaijan, UNESCO, the UN Alliance of Civilizations, the World Tourism Organization, the Council of Europe and ISESCO. High-level officials from more than 100 countries and over 30 international organizations are taking part in the event.
