Leyla Aliyeva met with the winners of the Olympic Games

Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva met with high school students who achieved high achievements at the International Olympiad in Physics, Mathematics and Informatics, and won medals.

xar.az informs that, education Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed Leyla Aliyeva about the activities of the high school, students from Baku and other regions.

It was noted that the Republican High School of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics will be accepted by the talented students from all regions of the country through the exam. At present 559 pupils study here. Of them, 135 are girls and the rest are boys. More than 100 pupils from different regions live in a dormitory.

The minister said that this high school is one of the three centers for preparing international Olympiads in the country. The Minister also noted that in 2018-2019 school year our students won 23 medals, including 1 gold, 10 silver and 12 bronze medals. The Minister added that from August 4 to 11, the International Informatics Olympiad will be held in Azerbaijan. Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva has been interested in the students' achievements and talked to them. Leyla Aliyeva presented the gifts to the students of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
