At the meeting of the Bureau of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, the issue of the status of honorary senator of this country has been considered.

Axar.az informs that, it was decided to grant the first honorary senator status to the first President of Kazakhstan, President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

It was noted that the appointment of the status to the first President is the founder of the Kazakh statehood, the protection of human and civil rights and freedoms, as well as identifying the country's strategic course and recognizing the unity of the society.
