Armenia violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan 133 times in a day

Armenian armed units violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan 133 times using large-caliber machine guns on various parts of the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenia troops in one day, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on Feb.18.

Armenian armed units stationed in the village Berkaber of Armenia’s Ijevan district, in villages Barekamavan, Voskevan of Noyemberyan district, village Aygepar of Berd district fired on the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces in villages Gizilhajili, Gaymagli, Gushchu Ayrim of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district, Alibayli village of Tovuz district.

Moreover, Azerbaijani positions located in nameless uplands of Gadabay district came under fire from Armenian positions located in nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk district.

Another ceasefire violation came from the positions located near the villages of Talish and Gulustan villages of Goranboy, Chilaburt, Yarımcha, Goyarkh villages of Terter district, Shikhlar, Novruzlu, Javahirli, Kangarli, Sarijali, Shuraabad, Marzili, Yusifjanli, Garagashli of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of Khojavend district, Horadiz, Garakhanbeyli, Gorgan, Ashaghi Seyidahmadli of Fizulu district, Mehdili of Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless uplands on Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavend, Fizuli andJabrayil districts.


In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 136 strikes on enemy positions.
