Azerbaijan has declared 9 non-working days due to the upcoming holidays in March.

8 March—International Women’s Day will be a non-working day.

Under the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 March 2016 will be Novruz holiday.

In accordance with the Labor Code, working and non-working days will replace each other because 20 March falls on Sunday this year. Therefore 25 March will be a non-working day. Furthermore, since 26 and 27 March fall on Saturday and Sunday, there will be 8 consecutive non-working days during the Nowruz holiday – 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27 March.

In total, there will be 9 non-working days in March.
