On November 19, Azerbaijan Railways Closed Joint-Stock Company opened the Sabunchu-Pirshagi line of the Baku Ring Railway.

Axar.az informs that, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony. The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the Sabunchu-Pirshagi line.

Javid Gurbanov, Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways, informed President Ilham Aliyev about the reconstruction work and plans for the Absheron Route.

The head of state departed from the Pirshagi station to the Zabrat-2 train.
