Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded the Order of the Knight -

On February 22, the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded the highest rank of order of the Pope - the Grand Cross of the IX Pieces of order (Dama di Gran Croce dell'ordine Piano).

Axar.az informs that, First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded this order for her contributions to the development of culture, including the relationship with the Holy See.

The order was presented to Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva by the Secretary of State of the Holy See, Cardinal Pietro Parolin.
