As of today, in connection with the strengthening of special quarantine measures in Baku, servicemen of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) have been involved in joint service with the police.

Axar.az informs that, the military is already serving in the streets of the capital together with police officers. They hold preventive talks with citizens and educate the population.

Major Elshad Hajiyev, Chief of the Press Service of the Baku Main Police Office, told that the main purpose of attracting servicemen is to strengthen measures to combat coronavirus infection in the capital, deepen and expand preventive work among the population:

"As of today, servicemen of the Interior Ministry's Internal Troops have started serving together with police officers," he said.
