118 new coronavirus infections have been registered in Azerbaijan, 87 people have been treated and released.

Axar.az reports that, the statement came from the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.

A citizen born in 1956, who tested positive for COVID-19, died.

So far, 3,749 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country, 2,340 of them have been treated, 44 have died, and 1,365 are being treated in special hospitals. Of these, 42 are in critical condition, 60 are in moderate condition, and the health of others is stable.

During the past period, 252,496 tests were conducted to identify new cases of infection.
