As soon as the borders are opened, Azerbaijani citizens will be able to travel to Turkey for medical tourism, work and leisure.

Axar.az reports citing the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan.

"We are all waiting for the pandemic to open. Once the borders are opened and flights resume, there will be no need to quarantine on the way to Turkey, but the necessary measures will be taken to combat the virus," the diplomatic mission said.

The embassy also stressed that tourists will be able to travel freely to different cities of the country, as restrictions on long-distance transport have been lifted in Turkey.
