Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kemaleddin Heydarov has today met with a delegation led by National Security Advisor of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Hanif Atmar, the Ministry of Emergency Situtions (MES) said on May 30.

Minister Kemaleddin Heydarov gave general information about the work done for prevention of emergency situations and elimination of their consequences. He expressed satisfaction with high level of cooperation with the relevant state bodies of Afghanistan on management of emergency situations.

Thanking Minister Kemaleddin Heydarov for meeting, Mohammad Hanif Atmar noted that Afghanistan is interested in development of cooperation between the two countries’ relevant bodies on elimination of consequences of the emergency situations.

Moreover, the sides exchanged views on studying of Afghan youths in the Academy of MES and other issues.
