Operations Headquarters held a briefing

The second week of the strict quarantine regime is coming to an end and the number of infected people remains high.

Axar.az informs that, the statement came from Shahmar Movsumov, Aide to the President of Azerbaijan on economic issues, at a briefing at the Operations Headquarters today.

"The severity of the quarantine regime depends on its implementation. The more restrictions are not observed, the higher the infection statistics. All countries of the world are struggling with this problem. Azerbaijan's struggle with this problem means the mobilization of society. This is a nationwide problem."

Shahmar Movsumov noted that we are at war now and we can win this war only by following the rules:

"Buses, subways, shopping malls are crowded. In these places, no one is wearing a mask. Let's ask those who do not wear masks to use masks. I am often asked when it will end. Each of us wants it to end quickly, and therefore we must comply with the requirements. We receive new information every day. If we used to refer to the world experience when we did not know something, now we do not have this experience. The world is looking for an answer to this question "

The presidential aide said he was very concerned about the current situation and that each of us was at risk:

"These are ordinary people who are at risk. Today, there is an increase in the number of infections in all countries of the world. Strict quarantine measures are taken in each of them. Compared to other countries, we have taken very decisive steps from the beginning and then went to mitigation."
