The number of people infected with coronavirus increased

148 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection were registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan, 177 people were treated, cured and released.

Axar.az reports citing the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.

Two people who tested positive for COVID-19 died.

So far, a total of 39,042 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the country, of which 36,601 have been treated, 574 have died and 1,867 are active patients.

During the last day, 6,722 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 1,047,906 tests have been performed so far.
