Azerbaijan has launched a new visa issuance procedure for foreigners arriving in the country.

Foreigners arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan will be able to obtain a visa in Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reads the decision “On an application form for obtaining a visa in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan” approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.

The application form should include surname, name, gender, birth date (day, month, year), place of birth (city, country), information on citizenship, as well as information on change of person's citizenship (if changed, its date and previous citizenship).

The application form should also reflect series of the ID card, duration (days) of stay in the country, purpose of the visit, full name, address and phone number of legal entity or individual receiving the application form.
