The glorification of Nazism is a state policy of Armenia.

Axar.az informs that, the statement came from President Ilham Aliyev in a video address at the High-Level Meeting dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the United Nations within the 75th session of the UN General Assembly.

The head of state noted that the hated Nazi General Garegin Njde has become a national hero:

"Armenia's official ideology is dominated by the policy of 'Azerbaijanophobia'. The younger generation is instilled with hatred for the Azerbaijani people. Armenia has recently adopted an aggressive and offensive military doctrine and national security strategy. The national security strategy reflects racist, chauvinist and "Azerbaijanophobic" views."
