Erdogan called Ilham Aliyev

President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan called President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on September 22.

Axar.az informs that, yesterday, the President of Turkey expressed his condolences to the head of state and the people of Azerbaijan in connection with the martyrdom of an Azerbaijani serviceman on the state border as a result of provocation by Armenia.

Expressing gratitude for the attention and condolences, President Ilham Aliyev praised the constant support of the Turkish President and the Turkish people to Azerbaijan in connection with the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The heads of state stressed that friendly and brotherly Turkey and Azerbaijan will continue to stand by each other, as always.

During the conversation, issues related to the further development of bilateral relations between our countries were discussed.
