527 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection were registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan, 131 people were treated, cured and released.

Axar.az reports that the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers stated this.

Eight people who tested positive for COVID-19 died.

So far, a total of 50,486 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the country, of which 41,410 have been treated, 679 have died and 8,397 are active patients.

During the last day, 6,814 tests were conducted to identify new infections, and a total of 1,298,348 tests were conducted over the past period.
