Mehriban Aliyeva expressed condolences to the Turkish people

First Vice President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva shared on her Instagram account about the earthquake in the Turkish city of Izmir.

"I am saddened by the news of casualties and destruction in the Aegean region of Turkey. I offer my deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims. I wish the wounded a speedy recovery. The grief of the Turkish people is our grief and our brotherhood is eternal! May Almighty God protect our peoples from all calamities and misfortunes!"
