Will martial law be lifted? - Deputy

The lifting of martial law, as well as curfew, is not on the agenda.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from MP Arzu Nagiyev.

According to him, the issue can be discussed only after December:

"According to the November 10 agreement, the Armenian occupiers have not yet completely left the territory of Azerbaijan. The process should end on December 1. Upon completion of the process, certain steps will be taken in this regard. The war is still going on. The military part of the war is over, but the diplomatic and information war continues. Therefore, the abolition of martial law, as well as curfew is not on the agenda at the moment."

He noted that the current restrictions are more appropriate due to the tightening of the quarantine regime in connection with the pandemic in the country.
