Azerbaijan reports 4,170 new COVID-19 cases

Azerbaijan has confirmed 4,170 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers told.

Axar.az reports that some 1985 patients have recovered, and 38 others have died, the headquarters noted.

Up until now, 118,195 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country, 73,676 of them have recovered, and 1361 people have died. Currently, 43,158 people are under treatment in special hospitals.

Over the past day, 17,581 coronavirus tests have been conducted in Azerbaijan, bringing the total number of tests to 1,718,235.
