3,942 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection were registered in Azerbaijan, 2,265 people recovered and were released.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Nazrin Mustafayeva, a member of the working group on infectious diseases of the Medical Territorial Units Management Unit (MEDU), at a briefing at the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers today.

According to him, 37 people who tested positive died.
