Two liberated villages of Aghdam region have been cleared of mines.

Axar.az reports this was stated by the Aghdam Region Executive Power.

According to the report, the territory of Agdamkend and Sarijali villages of the region has been almost completely cleared of mines, while other villages are being cleared.

At present, cleaning works are being carried out in the direction of Giyasli and Shahbulag villages of the region.

It should be noted that the Aghdam region was liberated from Armenian occupation on November 20, 2020. At present, along with the National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are also involved in the demining process in the Aghdam region.
