218 new COVID-19 cases registered over the past day

218 new COVID-19 cases have been registered in Azerbaijan, and 770 people have been treated.

Axar.az reports the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told that 9 people who tested positive for COVID-19 died.

So far, a total of 228,246 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the country, of which 218,387 have been treated, 3,053 have died and 6,806 have been active.

During the last day, 5,309 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 2,341,807 tests have been performed so far.
