President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Irakli Garibashvili on his inauguration as Prime Minister of Georgia.

"Azerbaijan and Georgia are united by traditional friendly and good-neighborly relations with deep historical roots. I believe that the fruitful cooperation and strategic partnership between our countries will continue to develop and expand dynamically in accordance with the will of our peoples, which are closely linked."

The President wished the Georgian Prime Minister good health, happiness, and success in his future responsible activities for the welfare of the friendly Georgian people.
