Harutyunyan will be prosecuted - Prosecutor General

The person who declared himself the head of the so-called republic and other people accompanying him were charged under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Azerbaijani Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev.

He noted that the accusations were confirmed by evidence: "Sooner or later, those people will be brought to justice."

The Prosecutor General also said that a total of 304 people were wanted for crimes committed against the Azerbaijani people by the so-called "leaders of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" who were previously operating illegally. 40 of those wanted are participants of the Khojaly genocide.
