On April 1, at the initiative of the Director-General of the World Health Organization, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Director-General of the organization Tedros Adhanom Gebreyesus in a video conference format.

Axar.az reports that during the meeting, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Gebreyesus said that 84,000 AstraZeneca vaccines will be sent to Azerbaijan as soon as possible within the COVAX initiative.
