The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Morocco and Senegal inaugurated earlier today the Consulate General of Senegal in Dakhla, Moroccan Sahara.
Axar.az reports that Senegal is therefore the 21st country to open a consular representation in the Southern provinces confirming once more the sovereignty of Morocco on the entire territory of the Sahara.
The move was merely a formality as Senegal’s position with regards to Morocco’s sovereignty and territorial integrity has never been in question.
Two more countries announced their intention to open a consular representation, including the United States
