33 died of COVID-19 in Azerbaijan over the past day

2192 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection were registered in the Republic of Azerbaijan, 1554 people were treated and cured.

Axar.az reports citing the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers that 33 people who tested positive for COVID-19 died.

So far, a total of 283,579 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the country, of which 249,013 have been treated and 3,879 have died. The number of active patients was 30,687.

During the last day, 14,912 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 3,005,197 tests have been performed so far.
