Call from the United States to Baku and Yerevan

The US government is urging Baku and Yerevan to reduce tensions on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from US State Department spokesman Ned Price on his Twitter account.

"We are closely following the news of the escalation of tensions on the unmarked part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. We understand that the communication between the parties continues, and we call for restraint to aggravate the situation," Price said.
