The servicemen died yesterday to be granted martyr status

The State Border Service (SBS) servicemen who died in a car accident will be granted the status of martyrs.

Axar.az reports that SBS says, according to the legislation, servicemen who died in Lachin will be granted martyr status.

Note that on June 16, at about 16:40, a traffic accident occurred in the service area of the "Gubadli" special border division of the Border Troops of the State Border Service (SBS).

The SBS said that a MAZ truck fell into a roadside ravine near Cicimli village of the Lachin region due to loss of control on the way back to the military unit from the border checkpoints. As a result, the servicemen in the car - senior lieutenant Nasibov Elmaddin Suleyman and sergeant Kamalli Kamal Vilayat died. A preliminary investigation is underway in connection with the incident.
