Zakir Hasanov expressed condolences to Turkey

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, expressed his condolences to the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Hulusi Akar, and the Chief of General Staff, General Yasar Guler.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from the Defense Ministry's press service.

His condolences read: "I am deeply saddened by the news that the glorious Turkish army was killed and wounded as a result of a treacherous terrorist attack on the brotherly Turkish Armed Forces in the area where the" Euphrates Shield "anti-terrorist operation was carried out.

We ask God Almighty to have mercy on the victims, offer our deepest condolences to their families and ask for patience. I pray to God to heal all the wounded.

Rest in peace".
